Let’s face it, vacation is for splurging on yourself and your family. Getting out of your daily routine is a blessing once in a while.

But vacation doesn’t have to equal neglecting your health. A South Lake Tahoe vacation is perfect for staying active and not regretting your vacation behavior. Here are some tips and tricks to prevent from crashing and staying healthy on your South Lake Tahoe vacation.

Build up Your immune System Before Your Trip – Pop that vitamin C baby. No one wants to be sick ON their vacation.

Hydrate and Keep Healthy Snacks – Carrying around a water bottle will prevent those soda cravings while you are out.

Book a Vacation Rental – Having access to a kitchen while on vacation will help prevent the whole family from over-indulging at restaurants every meal.

Bike Around Town – Instead of taking a drive, hop on a bike rental and enjoy the water while sight seeing through town. Plenty of South Lake Tahoe bike rentals at every corner!

Take Home Leftovers – Don’t worry about splurging once in a while, that is what vacation is for! But while you are dining out, try not to over-eat.
