This property exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful and airy. The kitchen was fully stocked and only a 5 minute walk to the Gondola and the middle of town. It was a short drive to Whole Foods and Safeway. It was a top unit which was great because nobody was above us. The bedrooms were large, the bathrooms were large and the entire unit was very comfortable for our family. There was a barbecue on the balcony which was a nice surprise. The staff was very responsive to any questions I had and even went out of their way to help. We would definitely stay here again when we return.

Stayed 3 nights with grandparents and kids. Beautiful property. Walking distance to both the village and the lake which was great for the grandparents while the rest of the family skied. It is located on the top floor so there are some stairs involved, but not too bad.

This condo is in a dream location. We were able to walk to the gondola for skiing and able to walk to the public access beach on the lake.

This condo is ideally situated. It is walking distance to the gondola for easy access to skiing. It is also walking distance to Lake Tahoe.

My family and I have rented the same condo every year during by bday for past 6 years, we love the location, it’s perfect , the condo is perfect however, there are a few things that can be improved upon
1. Supply extra towels and blankets
We don’t have room in our vehicles to bring those items
2. The couch/bed has been broken every visit and it’s very uncomfortable the couch cushions are sunken in ..
3. The pots and pans are scratched which is not conducive to cooking a good meal. Again, I would bring my own but I don’t have space.
I just bought a really nice set on Amazon for $60

Just to be clear, I love your place , just needs a little upgrade on those items mentioned.

Note: you must’ve hired a new cleaning company because they are 100% better than the previous ones the house this time was very very clean last year was a bit dusty.

We had a great stay at Buckingham’s. The team was extremely responsive. The Airbnb is very clean, spacious and is in close proximity to Heavenly (5 minute walk to town). The Airbnb is in a gated community and is easy to access. The Airbnb came with two parking spaces which is great if you are driving in. It is also an easy walk to bike rentals, cafes, restaurants, the gondola, shopping, casinos, etc. It doesn’t have a view of the lake, but it is a quick drive to Zephyr Cove. However, it is a perfect location the Heavenly if you are planning on a ski/snowboard trip. Perfect space for a large group or family. Be cautious of bears in the neighborhood as we passed one on our walk home one night (the bear wasn’t bothered by our presence). We had one night where our neighbors were loud, but Buckingham took care of it immediately. Overall, an amazing property and definitely worth the spend! Would definitely recommend!!! 5 stars!!!

PROS: Spacious; clean; great location that is central (walkable) to shopping, restaurants, bars, casinos, etc; lots of kitchen supplies; gated community; lots of closet and drawer space in bedrooms and bathrooms (nice to be able to put all of your things away and out of sight); each bedroom gets their own bathroom; nicely decorated; balcony with chairs and gas grill; quiet neighborhood; laundry soap and dishwasher detergent provided. CONS: Three flights of stairs to get to condo; no enough bath towels per bathroom; TV selection (no local channels or NFL access); mold on shower curtain in downstairs bathroom; no thermostat instructions (it's a Nest system and we did not know how to work it); no way to turn off automatic lights in bathrooms (very frustrating when using the bathroom in the middle of the night). (*NOTE: We did not contact the property manager about these items while we were there. I sure they would have fixed what they could have at the time. We just didn't want to take the time to do that while we were there.) Would suggest going to the condo and see what is there before going to the grocery store. We bought coffee and toilet paper - both weren't needed as there was plenty there. We didn't get paper towels and napkins and we did need those. OVERALL: We would definitely recommend this condo to others as long as they don't mind climbing 3 flights of stairs and/or the automatic lights in the bathrooms. Plenty of space for families and/or small groups!

Amazing location in a secure compound. Condo is super spacious but be prepared for lots of stairs. Open layout for kitchen, dining, and living rooms allow for lots of social time with your family and friends.

This property was really great. There was 6 of us girls and there was plenty of space. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. It’s up three flights of stairs so anyone booking, just take note. We are all in our 60’s and we did fine. The location is unbeatable. Walking distance to so many things and a few minutes drive to everything else south shore has to offer. Great trip!!

Our group loved this condo. Lots of room and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining room table was spacious. The location was wonderful. We were able to walk to the beach, restaurants, casinos, and shopping. We would stay here again. Great communication from property management.

Pros: The condo has great location for walking distance to resturants, shops, heavenly ski gondola, startbucks. The united is at the top, and very spacious. We had two issues that the company replied too, and offered to fix right away. Great comcunication. Cons: They condo is on the top floor three flights of stairs, which can be hard when carry up multiple suitcases. We are in great shape, and it was a little bit of a strulle for myself, and husband. We have one small child so, she could not carry anything up. We did use the washer and dryer daily for our clothes. The bathrooms: All have clear glass bowls which being 5'1 is hard to use for anything.My daughter who is 8 had a very hard time trying to use them, for washing hands, and brushing teeth.

We arrived on July 1 and stayed through July 8. Property was as advertised and very happy with it. This was our first time in Tahoe. The beach (entry fee required), restaurants, and the Heavenly resort gondola were all a short walk away as well as hiking trails. Great base camp for the family.

Location, location, location! Our group of 2 couples walked nearly everywhere. Amazing that we were only 2 blocks from the tourist attractions, shopping and restaurants at Heavenly yet didn't hear a peep at the condo. King bedrooms on separate floors gave each couple privacy. Kitchen was well stocked and beds super comfy. Could not have asked for a better stay!

Our stay was beyond expectations. Incredibly clean and exactly as pictured. The beds were so comfortable and it was so quiet. We all slept great. Well equipped kitchen and we had some great meals delivered and also made use of the grill on the deck for great meals. Easy walk to the lake, shopping and dining options. My family of 4 (us and two teenage boys) had a great, clean, safe and restful time in this spacious and beautiful property in the heart of South Lake Tahoe. The house had everything we needed including board games and puzzles after a day of skiing and sledding. It is the top floor without an elevator, just FYI. Communication with the owner was easy and fast. We would highly recommend this place!

Went on a family ski trip great place to stay very clean and convenient

This place was perfect for me, my husband, and our family! They provided more than enough kitchen gadgets and seasonings; the bathrooms were stocked with soaps, hair care, body care, & even laundry detergent. It was one of the coziest places we’ve stayed!

Great property in a great location! The action of Heavenly Village and South Shore are a short walk away. The place is well stocked and very comfortable. This host was very responsive and helpful to my inquiries before and during our stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. Clean, great location, fully stocked. The only issue I had was figuring out how to work the nest temperature control - the defaults were set to cooler than I’m used to, but we did end up figuring it out.

Family voted this best VRBO yet! We were 5 adults. Parents with 2 -20 something adult children and a boyfriend . Plenty of space to spread out , nicely decorated, everyone commented how comfy the beds were and we really enjoyed the separate AC controls by bedroom! Very well located in south Tahoe convenient walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Grocery stores incl Whole Foods nearby. We had a great time in Tahoe and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

This place was great! We liked that it was within walking distance to restaurants, coffee, shops and the gondola. It was nice that it was gated and it was easy to come and go.Our condo was spacious enough for our family of 4. We had everything we needed to be comfortable for our 5 days in Tahoe.We’d definitely stay there again!

We are VERY happy with our stay at this place at Lake Tahoe. The apartment is big and it has a great location. It’s about 20 min ride from Rubicon Trail and Eagle Trail that are must see.The beach is very close.Cross the street is small and very cute Heavenly Village that has Starbucks, Ice cream place, restaurants, etc.grocery store is 10-15 min drive.We highly recommend this place.

Super convenient location with access to heavenly gondola. We stayed here during the historic storm that made December 2021 the snowiest December in Tahoe history - but the management company on site were diligent in clearing out the snow and ensuring everyone is safe. Apartment itself is nice and cozy, will 100% come back.

Everything you need within walking distance, if you can even manage to leave this beautiful townhome at all! 3 couples shared this space for 5 days and all agree that it was a perfect setup!This place should be your next rental, I would book it now, it’ll be gone before you know it!

We were very happy with our stay here! The grill was fantastic and kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. The location is also great! Walking distance to lively areas/beach and short drive from other beaches and attractions.

This was the perfect place to stay for the weekend! The condo was super clean and had all the amenities we needed for the weekend. The location was definitely the biggest plus! It was so nice to be able to walk everywhere -from Stateline, to the lake, to TrailFolk Coffee @ Basecamp… Overall a lovely place, would definitely stay here again!

The place was sparkling clean and the location was amazing. The instructions were clear except the garage part. We probably spent half an hour trying to figure out how to open the garage. It would have been nice if the garage instruction was included too.

Great location, wonderful place! This was our first AirBNB experience, so we didn't know what to expect. The management company was great and very responsive to our questions. The apartment is located less than a 5 minute walk from the lake, as well as the downtown area. The rooms were super comfortable, as were the beds. A little tip for those guests with long hair, the water pressure in the second floor (downstairs) shower is awesome, my wife and daughters fought over who got to wash their hair first in that shower. Parking was easy, and the Buckingham managers made check in very easy. We'll definitely be coming back!

This condo is in the perfect location 5 minute walk to down town and 10 min walk to beach. Right outside of the gate we always found lime scooters which made it very convenient to explore the surrounding areas. When entering the building you do have to carry all your belongs up two flights of stairs so be ready for that. Once we entered we could tell they took there time to sanitize and clean the condo. I would rank the condo 8 out of 10 the only reason why I didn’t rank it higher is because the couches and beds could be updated to be more comfortable and the WiFi would occasionally cut out. Other then those issues everything else in the house was beautiful and well Equipped.

This condo is everything you can imagine and more! We were within blocks of everything we needed! Decor is perfect and we really loved that there were 2 master king suites ( on different floors) which added to the privacy! We also really loved the gas grill! We will definitely stay here again!

Great location and very clean. Lacked some personal touches that would have put it over the top. Kitchen essentials were lacking(no salt?!) and pull out couch in the living room was broken and there was no extra bedding anywhere.

Beautiful space, entrance is up two flights of stairs. No direct access from garage to unit. Wonderful accommodations and very nicely appointed.

Overall, great stay. Location is great. Walkable to Lakeside Marina and Lakeside Beach (entrance fees). Also, very close to shops and hikes.The place is taken care of and we were very comfortable staying here as a family. Kitchen is well stocked which made cooking easy. Also, BBQ is easy to use.Parking is great, able to fit two full sized SUV’s. Wish there was a garage opener. Maybe there was one somewhere.Only minor inconvenience is going up a couple flights of stairs with all our luggage but it’s a good exercise.Great customer service as well.

We really enjoyed our time here. One thing to note is that they only supply toiletries to get you started and then you are responsible for the rest of the time. We were stretched for essentials such as toilet paper and dishwasher tablets. Besides that one downfall everything was great.

Had plenty of room and was in a great location where we could easily walk to Heavenly Village as well as the grocery store. The kitchen was stocked with all the basic amenities and there was a grill out on the porch so we were able to make simple meals during our time there. Would highly recommend and definitely will plan on staying again for our next trip to Tahoe!
