About the Home
This five bedroom, 2,700 square foot home can accommodate up to ten people comfortably and is spread over two levels, which allows you and your group privacy when wanted, but still have plenty of room to gather together. Cook meals for your family or group in the spacious deluxe kitchen, or use the gas grill in the backyard to cook up some rustic goodies. Enjoy dining at the inside dining table that seats ten, or outside for some al fresco dining at the picnic table. In the evening, sit by the gas fireplace and enjoy the ambiance, or take in the sunset from the upstairs balcony (that is if you don’t want to wander down to the beach for a front row seat of the sunset!).
The Area
The Tahoe Meadows Lodge is located just off of Highway 50, in the Historic Gated Community of Tahoe Meadows. Tahoe Meadows is located lakefront, on the shore of beautiful South Lake Tahoe, between Ski Run Blvd/Marina and ½ mile from the Nevada state line. Tahoe Meadows is a private gated community established in 1924 on 100 acres with ¾ of a mile of private beach, two piers and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. During the summer months, there is an activities director on site at the “Main Beach” to organize activities for all ages — TM Baseball (Tahoe Meadows Rules allow everyone 2-92 to play), beach activities, campfires, teen nights, arts and crafts, ping pong, and field trips are just some of the fun! Be sure to check the bulletin board at the turn by the baseball field for the weekly schedule. During the winter months, the shuttle bus to Heavenly Mountain Resort is just steps from the front gate. With all of the amenities, both inside, and outside, you and your group will be sure to have a memorable Tahoe adventure!
