It’s almost November, and that means the time to start carving turns on the slopes is near!  With a total of nine ski resorts around the Tahoe Basin, a hill to suit your preferences and skill level isn’t far away.

No snow in the forecast?  No problem!  All of the ski resorts are hard at work making snow to be ready for their opening days.

Most resorts aim to be open before or around Thanksgiving each year.  Here are the opening dates for the main Lake Tahoe area ski resorts:
