Sequoia Chalet is located at the bottom of Kingsbury Grade on the Nevada side of town. This home has bedding in three bedrooms, a loft and a den sleeping a total of 10 people.
From this location you are walking distance to the local bus routes, that will take you in towards the casinos, restaurant, shops the lake and more. Walking distance from this neighborhood are a few local shops and restaurants at the base of Kingsbury Grade. Watch a game at Mott Canyon Tavern & Grill, enjoy a delicious breakfast at Red Hut Cafe, or enjoy Thai food at Thai One On. Kahle Park and Community Center is also just a short walk from this home, where there are jungle gyms, basketball courts and gym facilities available.
A short 3 - 5 minute drive will take you into the Heavenly Village and the state line. This is where the casinos are located, shops, restaurants, bars and grocery stores are. In the winter, the Heavenly Mountain Resort's Gondola is only a five minute drive (or bus ride) away. Or you can drive up the mountain and access the ski lifts from the Statecoach or Boulder Lodges, only an 8 minute drive. In the summer, Nevada Beach is just a short bike ride or drive where you can enjoy the clear, cold waters of Lake Tahoe.
This spacious home is perfect for a larger family or group. The 3,000 square feet is spread over two floors and a loft. The open living areas are on the second floor. The kitchen is equipped with all stainless steel appliances, plenty of storage and ample counter space with the large island. In addition to the stove, the island has a small sink, bar area and seating on stools. With the open concept layout, you can see the whole living and dining area while cooking in the kitchen.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining table, with seating for six and surrounded by large windows allowing for great light. The living room was recently updated with all new floors and different couches (leather), and flat screen television. New photos coming soon!
A large deck is accessible from the living room or dining area. The large deck is perfect for an outdoor meal, and there is a BBQ and patio chairs/furniture for guest use.
The master bedroom is located down the hallway off of the kitchen. This master suite features a California King sized bed and a twin bed. There is an en suite maser bathroom with large stand-up shower, double vanity sinks.
In addition to the living areas and master bedroom, the upper level has a full bathroom and a den with a sofa bed. The stairs to the loft bedroom are off of the living room, and take you in to a large room with two double beds and a twin bed.
The entry level floor features the two remaining bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a game room with a pool table. Also on this floor is the indoor access to the two car garage.
