Located right in the heart of South Lake Tahoe, we are always here to talk face to face with guests and homeowners. Our team is small, which means as a Buckingham homeowner you will get to know us all personally. The Buckingham office team includes a property manager, assistant manager, reservations team, accounting staff and communications and marketing personnel. The remainder of our team includes our caretakers and maintenance staff. Our caretakers and our maintenance team are all seasoned professionals who have been with Buckingham for years.

If you decide to rent with Buckingham Properties, you can rent your home out on a nightly basis, or as a furnished seasonal or long term rental. We are flexible with our management options, and always find the solution that will work best for both the homeowner and the guest. You are never locked in to one option, and can let us know which you prefer and at what time of year.

We also know that as a homeowner, you will want to enjoy your own home! Owners can conveniently log on to their owner portal and reserve their home for their desired dates. We do not penalize owners for using their home, nor charge. Homeowners can choose to use the services of their caretaker, or handle the cleaning themselves.

Each home is assigned a personal caretaker, who will take care of your home throughout the year. They are the ones cleaning, inspecting and checking on the unit when it is both vacant and occupied. Homeowners meet with their caretakers personally upon joining the Buckingham family.

The houses that we manage are all located on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Our homes range from Cave Rock, to Meyers and out towards Cascade Properties near Emerald Bay. This close range allows us all to be personally acquainted with our properties. This is important to market and accurately sell our homes. Our homes range from studios up to seven bedroom estates. No matter what the size, we treat each home equally and strive to place each of our guests in the home that will best suit their needs as a renter.
