Get down at the 2011 Bijou Bash

The 2011 “Bijou Bash” will be held this Saturday September 10^th, 2011 at the Bijou Community Park in South Lake Tahoe. The festivities begin at 11am with heaps of entertainment, vendors and exhibits for all to enjoy.  About forty vendors have signed up for the event so far, including crafts vendors, food merchants, and artist’s presentations. In addition to these activities, an array of performances and programs will be displayed by a number of our local talents. Some events include African dance performances, law enforcement exhibits, South Lake Tahoe’s own ‘Derby Dames’, BMX and skateboard demos. For all you dog lovers, there will be a canine parade throughout the park at 12:30pm. Admission to the event is free and parking is located just across the street at Lake Tahoe Community College. The fair is expected to yield about 3,000 visitors and the weather report is calling for scattered shower, so plan accordingly. For more information visit the Official Site.
